Guest speakers will not only provide comprehensive information about important global health issues but talk about their own personal experiences in the field as well as suggest specific ways that you can help. Short factsheets and summaries on the topics will be provided prior to each lecture summarising the main points as well as offering further reading resources.

This year, we are arranging a number of stalls [from over 21 different volunteer organisations] before each of the talks – allowing you the chance to find a volunteering opportunity that suits YOU. Stalls start at 5pm.

The course will commence in week two of semester two (10TH August) of 2010, with the lectures being held each Tuesday at 5pm-7pm at UWA. The lectures will also be made available via the internet for those unable to make certain lectures.
