International Federation of Medical Students' Associations (IFMSA)
The International Federation of Medical Students' Associations is the peak representational body for medical students around the world. They meet biannually at the March and August General Assemblies. The IFMSA is subdivided into six standing committees: Medical Education, Professional Exchange, Research Exchange, Reproductive Health Including HIV/AIDS, Public Health and Human Rights and Peace.
Think Global
Think Global is an Initiative Project of the IFMSA, and functions as the Global Health branch of the federation. It functions as a networking medium for like-minded students, works to encourage and direct an interest in global public health, and aims to provide students with global health education at a core medical curriculum level and through workshops and online resources. Think Global
Education for World Futures, an initiative of the Centre for Integrated Human Studies at The University of Western Australia, aims to work with other universities worldwide to provide future-focused education. Integrated human studies brings together the sciences, social sciences, arts and humanities to equip students with skills and knowledge to engage with 21st century challenges and create an equitable, sustainable future for humankind.
